Wallet Tracking: Following Smart Money on Padre Terminal

Wallet tracking is the feature that turns "someone else is making good trades" from a vague impression into something you can actually watch happen, in real time, from inside the terminal.

What it does

You add a wallet address to a tracked list, and the terminal surfaces that wallet's activity — new positions opened, positions closed, and roughly how large each move is — inside the same feed you use for everything else, instead of requiring a separate block explorer tab.

What it's useful for

  • Following a specific trader you already know about — someone whose track record you've seen elsewhere and want visibility into directly.
  • Sanity-checking a token you're already considering — seeing whether wallets with a history of early, well-timed entries are also active in it.
  • Learning entry and exit timing — watching how an experienced wallet actually times trades teaches more than reading about strategy in the abstract.

What it isn't

Wallet tracking surfaces activity — it doesn't verify a track record the way an audited, performance-based leaderboard would. There's no guarantee the wallet you're watching is skilled rather than lucky, and past activity says nothing about what that wallet does next. Treat it as a research input, not a signal to copy mechanically.

ON "COPY TRADING"

The terminal includes a copy-trading option tied to tracked wallets, letting trades mirror automatically rather than requiring you to act manually on each alert. Independent reviews differ on how actively this specific feature is maintained versus the manual tracking-and-alerts flow — if automatic mirroring is the reason you're choosing a terminal, it's worth testing with a small amount first rather than assuming full parity with a dedicated copy-trading product.

Setting it up

  1. Open the wallet tracker panel in the terminal.
  2. Paste the wallet address you want to follow.
  3. Choose whether to receive alerts only, or enable mirrored order copying if you want trades to follow automatically.

Since tracking spans the terminal's supported chains individually, a wallet followed on one chain won't automatically surface that same trader's activity on a different chain unless it's added separately there too.
